Association News - 21_KW14 - Live Tutorial "Club show made with DMXC3"

If you look into our YouTube channel and know the content, the following title might look familiar: “Club show made with DMXControl 3”. In the context of our open day of our anniversary meeting at the HTW in Berlin 2019 Stefan held a lecture exactly on this topic. However, due to the limited time slot, this lecture only scratched the surface. Thus, it was now time for a new edition in the context of our “Let's build a Project!” series.

As with the Christmas tree project by and with Jens-Peter, Stefan will be demonstrating the use of DMXControl 3 over the next four weeks as part of a multi-part live tutorial under the working title "Club show made with DMXControl 3" - and again from scratch. In order to fill this project in the context of the "Let's build a Project!" series with life, Stefan locked himself up in his technical warehouse for several days for this purpose and created a fully comprehensive project with a real setup. Thereby questions are answered such as:

  • How do I set up multiple DMX interfaces?
  • How does it work with patching to different DMX universes?
  • How to create exciting effects with a few mouse clicks?
  • How can I address cuelists with exceturors?
  • How do I build a softdesk and fill it with life?

We turned the live tutorial "Club show made with DMXControl 3" into a series with several videos. With the video today there will be a total of 4 videos with individual topics. The last video contains some examples how the project works under live conditions with a spontaneous live show. We will provide the source project for each video. So, you don't have to follow the videos from the beginning and you have the possibility to skip rather uninteresting topics.

Have fun watching and rebuilding the project with the help of this new live tutorial!

PS.: By the way... this will not be the last project in our "Let's build a Project!" series. One or the other idea is already in our heads - or can you think of something spontaneously?
