Hello All, will DMX Control run on windows 7 64 bit I have just tried it and get an error message it runs ok on my laptop (XP Pro)

Hi!

As far as I know at least one user is running it on w7 64bit. Please quote the error message, maybe a developer or other persons can help you then.

it works as well on win7 64-bit. you just have to start is with administrative permissions.

same here: works fine on my w7 pro 64.
I'm starting it as admin and never had problems.

I have got it to work but I get "error 429 activeX component can't create object" I have to run pluginadministrator.exe every time seems a bit messy

When you disable the UAC in win 7 it should work without the pluginadministrator.exe.
UAC is the first thing I disable, when I have a newly installed win 7

I think, I can remember an error code like that.
It was related to my afterglow-plugin (as far as i can remember) but a simple re-install with the version that was delivered with my usb2dmx interface solved the problem.

Thanks all for your efforts disabling UAC solved the problem
