No light to devices

Hi, beginner here that has stumbled at the first step.

I have an ENTTEC DMX USB PRO interface. I've downloaded the EMU software to make sure it is recognised on my Win 10 computer.

I have configured the DMX USB PRO as the interface in my project.

I have 4 generic RGBAW UV LED Pars which can run in 6 channel or 10 channel mode. The mode is selected by the address (d001 for 6 Channel mode) (a001 for 10 channel mode) I have set the address to 6 channel mode.

I used the Generic RGBAWUV DDF. I did notice the DMX Control version on this DDF is not the latest DMXControl 3 version 3.2.3 ( I tried editing this and saved the updated and re-named I DDF in .....\AppData\Roaming\DMXControl Projects e.V\DMXControl\Kernel\UserDevices
To see if this solved the problem but I could not locate this new DDF when trying to load a new device.

In the stage view I can see the devices and they change colour when I select a colour on the colour wheel but the fixtures do not react.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I have done wrong?

What's wrong with the Generic RGBWAUV? If in doubt, create a new one, it's just RGB and the three additional colors. There's nothing in it that should cause problems in the current version.

Take a look at the wiki, there are examples.

I think this should work. Only colors, no dimmer, no strobe!

The DMXControl version in the DDF is used to specify the minium version of the program needed for the functions used in this DDF. Therefore it is perfectly normal (and actually the usual case) that the version in the DDF is not the latest available DMXControl version.

Thanks for all the help. I removed and re added the interface and all working now.
