Save the Date: Spot On #8 - The (new) Textbook plugin

Now that DMXControl 3.3.2 has been available for a few days, we’re adding another feature: the (new) Textbook plugin. You can find out all the details on June 16, 2026, starting around 8:00 p.m. live on our YouTube channel.

The Textbook plugin offers a wide range of applications in the theater and musical theater sectors. It can also be used to control lectures and other events with a fixed schedule. However, this popular extension was discontinued in DMXControl 3.2.3. With the release of DMXControl 3.2.3, we discovered that the existing Textbook plugin was no longer compatible.

But since Martin was one of many users of the Textbook plugin, he had spent the past few months rewriting it from scratch. In our upcoming livestream on June 16, 2026, Jens-Peter and he will jointly introduce the new plugin to you - including the new features in its operation. We look forward to seeing many of you there - on YouTube as viewers, in the livestream chat, or simultaneously on our Discord server.
