Yesterday, we were really racking our brains while working on the next features for DMXControl 3. Among other things, we’re currently overhauling the softdesk to make it possible to add new features in the future. But there’s still a lot of work to be done before that can happen. We also fixed several minor bugs.
Things are also moving forward on the hardware front. Unfortunately, we don’t have anything to show you yet. But we’re rapidly approaching a first presentable version. The “problem” with our hardware department, however, is that it doesn’t just work on DMXControl Projects. it gives a new lease on life to every non-functioning device that’s found in some strange way. For example, yesterday we took apart and repaired an old beverage vending machine, among other things. After the expert repair, it’s running like a charm again. Other items that were repaired included a guitar amplifier, several spotlights, Joseph’s monitor, and Arne’s glasses, which are now clear again. When it comes to Arne’s glasses, we’re already wondering if this annual ritual is part of a service contract.....
The marketing department worked with Sebastian in the barn to fine-tune his lighting setup. There are a few small moving heads set up there. We were also able to test the new position mapping feature more thoroughly, which gave us some feedback to share with the software developers.
This morning, we held our annual general meeting. This year’s meeting was one of the shortest ever, as there were no major issues or elections on the agenda this time. Setting up the tech for our remote participants felt like it took longer than the actual meeting.
Let's see what else the day has in store for us.
