  • Good evening...

I figure out directly three problems, why your created fixture won't work.

    1. In line 11 you add something, which is not allowed inside the dimmer element. You must remove the part range="50". Additionally, you can simplify the complete definition of the dimmer regarding the lines 10 to 12 by removing them and just add <dimmer dmxchannel="1" />.
    2. In line 14, the value for the attribute type is not allowed. Please change them from blackout to off. I guess, blackout is written in the manual, but in a lot of cases, you need to transfer these informations to the way, how DMXControl 3 needs them.
    3. Generally, you have a counting issue. In the fixtures (so called DDF) for DMXControl 3, you always count starting with 0 instead of 1. That's maybe the main reason, why your device isn't currently turned on. In this cases, I recommend always to check the outgoing DMX values by looking to the values shown in the window called "channel overview".

I hope, you are able to follow my instruction for fix your DDF. If there are any further questions don't hesitate to ask. :)

    Best regards, Stefan.

PS.: For a better overview I re-formatted the parts with the xml code by using the code function of the forum.
