  • Hallo,

  • Hallo,
hab grad nochmal nachgeschaut.

  • Hey,

I just read that DMX4ALL support is no longer support in the beta series of DMXControl 3.0.

As a happy owner of a DMX4ALL device - are there anything I can do to help get support back for DMX4ALL?

    /Kristian

  • Hallo Kristian,

yes, this interface isn't yet supported in the beta version (as many other interfaces).

You can tell DMXControl 3 to output Art-Net data, and recieve this with your favourite application to forward this data to your interface - for example DMXControl 2 can be used for that.
We have a (german) tutorial that explains this configuration: http://www.dmxcontrol.de/wiki/Lektion_24_Tut3 I hope you understand enough german to be able to configure your software the same way.

    Stefan

  • Hi,
you understood it wrong ;). DMX4All will be supported in future versions of DMXC 3. But there are some problems with the DMX4All-API so the developers have to find the best way to implement this type of interfaces.

  • Thank you... the tutor got me started, after noticing it was a bad idea to broadcast to "127.0.0.1" - that but DMXControl 2 to a crawl... actually broadcasting to 255.255.255.255 was better.

But it got me starting with DMXControl 3... looking forward to the real driver through ;)

    Keep the good work up...

Muss einfach mal danach suchen.

Was mit Gaffer nicht klebt, ist kaputt!

  • Hallo,
