  • I really wish I could use DMXControl with the Enttec pro but it looks
like it is not going to work for me. That lag is just to much compared
to using the Enttec OpenDMX driver which is nice and fast. The problem
with my cheaper OpenDMX adapter is that it has some issues with some
lights I use that freak out a little where the Enttec Pro adapter works
perfectly. Other DMX software like Lightfactory and a few others work
really smooth with the Enttec Pro adapter and current driver I have
    installed.

What is the best DMX adapter to use with DMXControl? At this point I want to get an adapter that seems to work the best.

  • Hi,
I personally think, the Digital Enlightenment Interface (known as the DE-Interface) is one of the best Interfaces for DMXC. It runs very stable, it has an integrated DMX-In, you can change the DMX signal configuraton very easy for slower DMX-devices and it is not really expensive (for its functionality). There are two versions: The "Self-Made-Version" (here, on the bottom of the page, link behind "Selber bauen", but only german project files) for about 50€-70€ and the commercial version (called fx5-Interface, same page, but lower link) for 150€.
    Regards
    JP
