hey, i'm new here and stumbled on this forum on a google search. I’ve been using v2 for about 4 years now and I love the software however this compatibility issue is really driving me crazy. I searched your forum and found a few things to try but none of them worked for me. So here is the problem;
Software installation goes great, load udmx output module it works most of the time however when I try to close the program it crashes 100% of the time and restarts in German.
This doesn’t seem to be an OS or hardware based issue as I have tried it on x86 and x64 machines both Intel and AMD processors with varied RAM configurations and quite a few operating systems 2k, vista (x86 & x64), XP (x86 and x64), W7(x86 & x64) and always the same result. Leaving the device plugged in and the plug-in active results in a crash. After any crash it becomes locked in German unless I remove the program do a registry clean restart and reinstall.
Trying to circumvent the problem by shutting off the plugin and removing the device works, sometimes. About 50% of the time it will still crash but I have been lucky by saving my work before I touch anything that could close the program.
I tried switching to v3 and other software but nothing that I have found can do the things I need like v2 does. .
Like I said I did check the forum to try to find an answer but I can’t seem to find anything that solves this language problem. I have gone as far as to remove the German language file from the installation directory only leaving the English. But somehow it keeps finding German somewhere on my computer.
At this point any help would be great
