I read in DMXControl "News" about the L8 visualizer, so I ordered it. I have not installed it yet as the license code is only good for one computer. My question is can I run it on the same laptop that is running DMXControl 3 (or 2)? I believe the laptop should be powerful enough to run both applications at once, but I am new to this and am not sure how the DMX in/out communication works between two applications running on the same machine, The setup will be a ASUS Predator,17 with two 500GB SSDs + 2TB HD, 64GB RAM, 4K screen; an additional 22" touch-screen monitor and an AKAI APC40

Hello!
You can use the visualiser with all light control software and controllers, they are able to send DMX via Art-Net (and sACN) to or directly on your laptop. There is not DMXControl 3 exclusive restriction for the usage.
