Did you know? #28 - An overview about the keyboard shortcuts
As is well known DMXControl 3 is mainly operated with the mouse. The keyboard is used primarily and at first sight when assigning a new name for a cuelist, a button in the softdesk or when commenting a scene. That's why Drag 'n' Drop is an important companion when working. By the way mentioned: The DMXControl-Wiki counts at the moment eight articles about program functions, where Drag 'n' Drop at one or more places supports the work accordingly. Who it interests, that simply enters DnD (that is the name of the template, which writes the text Drag 'n' Drop completely and in the correct formatting into the articles) into the search bar of the DMXControl Wiki.
But did you know that there are already now some functions in DMXControl 3 which can be called with the keyboard or can be changed in their behaviour with the keyboard? So not only the usual suspects for Copy & Paste, but also a few things more. First of all: a new light scene can be created in both cases only conditionally. But surely someone of you will find one or the other keyboard command he did not know before. And so that you do not have to think about "where did I read that again?", we refer you this time to the DMXC-Wiki for the following German articles:
In these articles, the keyboard shortcuts are already largely documented. If more are added, then these can be found likewise with the help of the search in the DMXC-Wiki. The keyword is: Tastaturbefehle - the German word for key commands.
But finally, a question for you: what do you think about this "kind" of this Did you know? Would such cross-references to interesting topics, which are already documented in the DMXC-Wiki, also be a helpful alternative for topics of our Did you know? series? What do you think? We would be pleased about feedback from you.
