By reading this news posting, some of you maybe recognize parts of a former post in our "Live@Work" series. It is not a secret, that the guys behind the scenes of the current event in the culture and youth club "CD Kaserne" at Celle were the same people like in Beckum at the begin of this year. Due to this reason, Stefan was asked again for being responsible for creating the light show with his own console. So he traveled with computer, screens and interface to Celle.
For this party at Celle, the light setup consist of 16 wash beams, six hybrid moving heads and more than 20 led fixtures. Every device received its DMX values from a Art Net Node Quad made by Ulrich Radig. On the computer, DMXControl 3.1.1 was working. The related project was a well known: the basic setup came from the show at Beckum. According to this, the adaption of the current project was a simple and easy job and done very quickly. In the project, there are 14 movements and positions in total for the wash beams available. Only three of them needed to be adjusted a little bit. All other adaptions were proceeded by the HAL automatically, when the fixtures were reordered in the device groups in DMXControl itself. A bit more time was need to add the hybrid moving heads to the project, especially to find good combinations for gobo, prism and the related rotation speeds. All in all, the complete project was adapted within only two and a half hours.

P.S.: All former editions of "Live@Worrk" were provided only by members of DMXControl Projects. But if you have a great event and want to present it here, feel free to write to us too. It does not matter, if you run the show with DMXControl 2 or DMXControl 3.
