Will there be a Mac software release? I'd rather not have to run this on parallels or bootcamp.

At least for the 2.x-Series there will be defenitely NO Mac version (DMXC 2.x is written in VB6, which is not available for Mac OS).
Even for the 3.x-Series it is very unlikely, and for the next time definitely will not happen.
Sorry, but currently DMXC is Windows-only.Stefan

I also use DMXC on a Mac, but with Parallels.
I really like it, because you can play some Music with iTunes on Mac, and you can easily switch to DMXC on Windows to control your lights.Korni

as far as I know, Itunes runs on Windows as well... (there might be more relevant reasons for using a MAC
