  • - Assign submaster with submaster bank to commandbuttons or keyboard keys. something like 1.2 or 2.12
    - Scenes on/off not only overwrite
    - Easyer way to patch more than one fixture at a time. Together with automaticly assinging dmx addresses

    If anybody has some other suggestions feel free to add them here

  • It would be great if you could make it posible to insert pictures into the device... Fx. then you could have images of all the gobos/colors and use them as buttons

  • 8) Make it possible to put the Audio Player into a repeat function (with delay) so you don't have to use a macro program to push the play button.

    8) Make it possible to disable / auto-close (error) messages so you don't have to use a macro program to push the ok button.

  • Sorry, I do not completely understand your question. In DMXControl you add the devices you have and assign them their DMX base adresses. Then you can use e.g. your scanner.
    With the next release of DMXC you can even change that DMX adress later and the stored scenes will continue to work...

    Please describe your problem more precise.

  • =) Include an option in the 'Program configuration' dialog-box to show/hide the 'active' check box. (password protected?)

    :) Include an option in the 'Output plugins' dialog-box of to simulate/disable the output (but still show it on the screen).

    :O Show a warning symbol when not 'active' or simulating.

    Edited once, last by UdovdM (June 10, 2008 at 11:57 AM).

  • :) Automatically unfold the Save Scene channel-tree items. (see screenshot)

    :) Make accelerators for the buttons in Audioplayer and Scenelist
    CTRL+P = Play CTRL+H = Rewind CTRL+R = Repeat CTRL+SHIFT+A = Active CTRL+'+'/'-' = zoom in/out
    CTRL+SHIFT+B = Blackout

    (DMXControl 2.8 build 94 alpha only: )

    :O Make the tiny icon-buttons larger.

    :) Allow a selection in the Channel overview to change multiple channels at once.

    :( Dubbelclicking in the Channel overview lets you enter a 'Helligkeit' like in DMXC 2.8 rev0.

    =) Make Channel overview channel modifyer colors and position always stay the same.
    blue = Channel overview Green = Scenelist aqua = Audioplayer yellow = Graphical view !

    Tips:

    :D Make external language files (in the Languages folder) so that anyone who has an ascii-editor and can write and type,
    can make his/her own language file.
    (if they install a newer version of DMXControl it shout take the buildin (german) textstring for that item)
    Could be something like AdAware version 5 or Live for Speed
    mainmenu_file_new = 'Nieuw project...'
    mainmenu_file_open = 'Open project...'
    mainmenu_file_save = 'Bewaar project...' )

  • I'll second the request for the command line to be operable from the keyboard - this would allow for an easy rigging remote with a seperate keypad.

  • Sorry - also it would be useful to be able to record certain sequences of instruction for the command line and record these on a button in the Command Box tool, for example "1 thru 512 @ 0", just on one button press.

    But the keyboard control of the command line would certainly be the most useful feature to add.
