Developer News - 22_CW23 - RDM, please

In our last live streams, we addressed the topic several times: not only the pure development, but also the beta test for DMXControl 3.3.0 was hard, exhausting, tough and sometimes even annoying. It was therefore all the more pleasing that we were finally able to reach what felt like the most important milestone in the history of the association on February 12, 2025: the final release of DMXControl 3.3.0.
In these live streams, we also pointed out that we did not want to go through such an extensive version jump again regarding our capacities. The complexity in the area of development, but also in testing, was ultimately difficult to keep track of due to the numerous innovations and the most extensive changes in the basis in the history of DMXControl 3. This was also one of the reasons for publishing several release candidates for DMXControl 3.3.0 for the first time after the initial release of DMXControl 3.0.0. After all, the internal beta test lasted almost two years - from March 2022 to December 2023 - and was followed by the test with the five release candidates.
So, this news is certainly all the more surprising for you. A few days ago, we started the next beta test for DMXControl 3, more precisely for DMXControl 3.3.1, around three months after the release of DMXControl 3.3.0. Various interesting things have already come together again for the upcoming version. The list of changes and new features is well worth seeing, but it is now only a fraction of the list we published for DMXControl 3.3.0 on our website.
We will reveal which features you can look forward to in due course - perhaps in one of our next live streams. We also (still) sincerely hope that the problems that have arisen in the beta test can be resolved relatively quickly and that you won't have to wait too long for the new version.
