DMX Control 2 drives the lights as well... odd. Is there a faulty driver in DMX Control 3?

I had the thing running for a few days, and now it has stopped, I think after I installed DMX Control 2 to handle the timing issues addressed in another thread. Freestyler still drives the lights, so I doubt it is a hardware issue.
Is the port supposed to be 0 and the DMX-Out Address supposed to be 1.1? I have the interface enabled and DMX-Out enabled, and I'm using the same setup that worked a couple of days ago, but nothing.
Any ideas?

That seems complicated. Is there a reason I should just set up the audio to fire at the appropriate time from, say, some form of alarm clock program?

So at show time, how do I get them to sync up in a fully automated show?

Thanks! I tried that, but it looks like audio analyzer changes lights based on sound input. What I'm looking for is a way to start the light cues and the soundtrack at the same moment so that they are synched up all the way through. I am using the real time control to start the lights.

So I just saw the part of the tutorial stating that the audio player is not yet implemented in DMX Control 3. Linking sound to light is a critical part of my application.
Do you have any suggestions for how to work around that and still sync lights with sound? Should I just use version 2?

I got it working. Apparently you have to explicitly tell it how many channels to use. My bad.
Here's the file in case you want to use it/are curious.
Thanks to everyone who's worked on and is maintaining this software. It's badly needed.

Ok, I did it. Then I tried to load it in the project explorer, and the program hung on "Creating devices, please wait."
I attached the .xml, but I'll keep working on it.

Much appreciated. The fixtures didn't come with any documentation, so I had to figure out the function by trial and error. Still, they cost about $12 each and give me decent RGB color, so...

I've got some of these cheap Chinese LED RGB pars, and intensity is on the intensity channel between 1 and 128. 129-256 are reserved by hardware for various speed strobes. How do I set up my instruments to use 1-100% in the 1-128 range in DMX?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
