  • Is it feasible to support multiple MDX universes with a dedicated USB->DMX adapter for each universe?

I am using LED strings that have 50 individually addressable RGB lights, so that consumes 150 DMX addresses.

LEDs are going to require much more than 512 DMX addresses on a single universe.

    Thanks!

  • Well, it would be possible to build a version which can handle more than 512 channels. But then the memory usage might explode...

The transmitter configuration is already able to handle multiple transmitters, using different start adresses. So you could use one Transmitter for adresses 1-512 and another for 513-1024. It is even possible to use the same interface model, simply copy the used dll-file (eg. "Transmittername.out.dll" and "Copy of Transmittername.out.dll").
