DMXControl not starting - no UserContextID Bound

On September 29, 2026, we held our release show for DMXControl 3.3.3. During our usual “hour-long” session, we showed you all the new features in this version and what it now has to offer.

    I installed DMXControl 3.3.1 after installing a number of other DMX software products and it seemed to be working - I added my DMX Interface, added dimmers, saved a project, etc.

    I then uninstalled all the other DMX software.

    Since then, I haven't been able to get DMXControl to work - UMBRA complains about "no UserContextID bound..."; my DMX interface has disappeared, the only option under the File menu is "exit programm".

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling DMXControl several times, rebooting after uninstalling and after installing. It still won't establish a connection.

    Clearly, something got bashed that isn't getting restored on reinstall. I'd appreciate any help getting this running.
