I've just downloaded DMXControl and am wondering what is the best USB to DMX interface to buy/build?
Any help would be greatly appriceiated.

The opinions are different, it depends on the usage of the interface. But the favoured one in Germany to bulid is the digital-enlightenment. Seems the Google translation is ok for the main page:

The Interface making the most problems seems to be the "Enttec". Mainly because the signal generation is done in your computer and not in the interface. So it depends on how fast your pc is and other processes can disturb. Signal generation for the DMX-Bus should be done in the interface if you want to get what you want.
So I can only tell you our "most wanted" and "most problem" devices. Hope it helps.

Thanks heaps for the info. I've been reading up on the Enttec and they do seem quite involved.
What is the best ready made interface for DMXcontrol?

I don't know other Interfaces but I work with the DMX4All USB Interface V4 since 2 years.
In this time I had no problems with using the Interface up to 250 channels.
(Only DMX Out)Now i'm testing the DMX In function an i have some problems, but I don't know if they are caused by the interface. :-/
