  • Hi,

What a cool piece of software. I basically went from a DMX idiot to having a working DMX show with scanning, color changes, strobing, gobos and effects - all under MIDI control - in about two days.

Occasionally, while programming scenes or effects, I found that the dimmer position of a luminaire would be restricted to some range. For example, it was impossible to move the dimmer below 225. No technique could get around this restriction - not even typing values in the Channel Overview.

Its probably user error, but ... any ideas?

    Eric

  • In DMXC a central HTP mix mixes the dmx streams of the sequencer, scene list, etc. to the final outgoing stream.

If in one stream the value for your channel is 255, the values of the other streams for this channel are ignored.

If you are unfamiliar with this technique you can disable it in the global settings.

    Hendrik

EDIT: HTP = highest takes precidence
