    Hi JP,

Thank you very much for your reply and taking the time to edit the project! This means a lot and going through the changes, the logic makes a lot of sense to me. This project is a for an interactive children's go karting facility. It is indoors and each round, there is a unique theme (we have Mario, Sonic, Ironman and many others). I will try this project and ask any questions that come up. The question I have at the moment is if for something like a fog machine or a similar effect machine. Do I need to create a new cuelist setting the machine to OFF and group it with the cuelist that triggers the machine? I'm guessing based on the way the PL devices are grouped, a similar logic would apply for the fog machines and other machines. Do I understand correctly?

That's pretty neat! Basically, I have an installation with a group of LED fixtures as it's main group. They are turned to full white in the morning and turned off at night. During the day, they are controlled with different looping cuelists. The duration of how long these looping cuelists run for is controlled from an external computer via DMX. My issue is I'm not sure how to turn them to a certain color using a normal cuelist and keeping them that way until another cuelist is called. So right now, I'm manually highlighting the fixtures in the morning. When a looping cuelist runs and times out, a cuelist is called to 'Stop and Release' all looping cuelists.

I'm basically looking to automate the highlight function and replace the Stop cuelist with a better solution.

I've uploaded my project in this thread:

    Hello guys,

Thank you for your reply and sorry for the late reply, I just saw the updates in the threads.

I've attached the project and a screenshot of the configuration of a typical cuelist (all are pretty much identical to this). The connectionset doesn't fit properly in an image since its multiple connections. The setup is designed with the following operation in mind:

    - There are two PCs, PC1 manages DMX triggers that go into PC2 and PC2 runs DMXC3

    - PC1 starts a show which runs for say 10 minutes; it triggers one or more cuelists in PC2 at the start of a show and it send DMX triggers to reset them at the end of a show

    - DMX input 4 resets all the cuelists (for example at the start of the day or at the end of a show)

    - DMX input 1 turns all lights off (only used at the end of the day)

I'm not sure if the cuelist configuration is correct, any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

I'm using a DMX input to trigger a simple cuelist to turn some RGBW lights to turn on (full white). The cuelist works, the lights turn on but they immediately start fading to black and turning off. I have to manually turn the dimmer on all of them to 100% before the cuelist works correctly. In the cuelist, I've made sure that the dimmer is set to 100% in the cue. There is only a single cue and nothing else.

    Any thoughts on this?

Thank you for your reply! I can adjust the rate of my DMX node to see if this makes a difference. I will also try another interface if that doesn't work and post the results here.

    Hi JP,

The flicker is on the device, I don't see any glitches in the software itself. I have a Chauvet DJ DMX-AN2 ArtNet DMX Node (DMX-AN2). The lights are generic RGBW LED panel lights. They seem to do the same type of flickering when they're set to full white (1;1;1) but I'm not sure if that is the issue or a setting I have.

    Cheers!

    Hallo,

I've created a few looping cuelists to fade between two colors. I have two follow cues each with a fade time of 5s. The light type is the default RGBW that DMXC3 has. I see an occasional fast flicker during when the cuelists run and I'm not sure if there is a setting that is causing this. My basic cuelist settings are attached. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers!
