It just opens with a blank screen.

I restarted the pc to make sure.

I put the hid.sharp.dll file in the test folder, and it is now doing the following:
-
-
We now have a MacroBoard on the input assignment!!! There is no serial number listed, and no animation on the stream deck, but the buttons are listed if you open the SN.

Didn't work. I also replaced the file in the test folder, but nothing happened either.
When I run the test program, the output windows stays open for a little bit. It says something about an unhandled exception: System.io.FileNotFoundException:

Thank you so much for all your help today - you have been amazing!
Do you think it will be possible to get this working?

The only thing that I can find (I am using windows 10) is under settings - Bluetooth and other devices. The Stream Deck is shown, but I am unable to right-click or get any properties.
Under device manager, it is listed under human interface devices as a usb input device, and has a standard Microsoft driver installed.

Does this look correct?

I have unzipped the folder, and run OpenMacroBoard.Examples.Rainbow.exe - Nothing happens. Should I be running this stand alone, or while DMX Control is running?
When I restart the laptop with stream deck connected, the steam deck app launches with the welcome button shown on the stream deck. I closed the stream deck app before launching OpenMacroBoard.Examples.Rainbow.exe

I have tested the stream deck on my desktop pc, and also on my laptop. Neither show up on the input assignment on DMX Control.
What exactly should be happening when the stream deck is connected with DMX control? What should the stream deck show, and where should it appear on DMX Control?

I can't get my desktop to connect to my laptop. I've disabled all firewalls, but that was no help.
When I connect my laptop (Lenovo i5) to my desktop, the output on the kernel shows the following:
ERROR Session - Error when opening connection from Lenovo i5. RemoteHost not pingable!
INFO Session - Unable to Connect to Lenovo-i5
INFO Session - Session "LENOVO-I5" has been activated
I have disconnected the stream deck while the kernel is running, and plugged it back in. All the buttons light up white, then go out. A dim stream deck logo is now showing, and nothing is visible on my laptop on the input assignment tab.
Can you confirm that something should be showing up on the area that I have highlighted on my previous picture?

I have got the laptop to connect to the kernel on my desktop. The stream deck is connected to my desktop.
Assuming that I am looking in the correct place, nothing is listed under the input assignment on my laptop for the stream deck.
I was unable to get my desktop to connect to my laptop. I will try again.

It's the same the other way around. I am running the kernel on my laptop, and the gui on my desktop. My desktop is showing my laptop under found servers, but it won't allow me to click on it, or change the type from local to remote. Is there something else that I need to be doing in order to make the connection?

I have the kernel running on my desktop pc, and the gui on my laptop. The dialogue is displayed to connect to a server, and my desktop (Acer i5) is listed. However, the connection type is only listed as local - it won't allow me to change this to remote.
My laptop does not have a lan port. It is connected to my router via wifi, and my desktop is connected to the router via lan.
I'll try it the other way around.

I have plugged in my stream deck into my desktop, and windows has automatically installed the drivers.
DMX Control 3.2 has been installed (previously 3.1), but I still can't see any MacroBoard listed on the input assignment.
Am I looking in the correct place - or being very stupid!!!

Will be trying to do this in a few mins.
