MIDI question

I am trying to send commands to DMXControl 2.12 from Multiplayer (https://da-share.com/forum/index.php) a tool we are using for our Theatrical production in order to automate the light changes.

Environment: I have Multiplay (3.0.176) sending commands to loopMidi (v1.0.16) and, from there, to DMXControl 2.12.2 (on the same pc).

What I have done:

I have created two MIDI cues into Multiplay:

Q | Status | Channel| Address

------------------------------------------------

Q1 | program change | 1 | 1

Q2 | program change | 1 | 2

Q1 will fire Chaser1 that is turning all the front light (6x dimmer) up to 255

Q2 will fire Chaser2 that is turning all the front light (6x dimmer) down to 0

What is happening:

Sending Q1 works as expected as well as Q2, BUT, these chasers stay active and if I need to run again Q1... nothing happens.

I know, DMXControl 2.12 is no more supported and on top of that I am not a MIDI expert... but someone over there could try to explain which is the best way to have each Q executed and, at the end (assuming Q2 is the end), both Q1 and Q2 will stop ?

Mi sono stati dati un paio di questi Moving Head cinesi, guardando la documentazione, ho provato a costruire DDF da solo... risultato := disastro!

Ho anche provato a cercare tra gli articoli, ma devo ammettere che non sono riuscito a trovare nulla.

Quindi chiedo se qualcuno sarebbe così gentile disposto a costruire un DDF per me.

I am using DMXControl 2.12.

Insieme a queste teste mi è stato consegnato anche il datasheet/manuale utente allegato.

Hello
I have recently updated my laptop to windows 10.
I use it only for running DmxControl coupled with a Behringer LC2412 through a FX5 interface.

After the update I am experiencing this strange behaviour:
I start dmxcontrol (with or without the interface connected) everything works fine but, when
the submaster window appears it has all the sliders with:
- knobs at zero;
- blu bar close to slider at 100%;

I have tried everything to sot this out with no success...
The only 'solution' is to click on the flash button for each channel and this is resetting the bar.

To be honest before writing this I have tried to search the forum...
unfortunately I was not able to find anything

Can you help?

Hi Everybody,
I have recently bought from china a couple of small moving head.
Reading the attached manual, I have created the attached DDF as well as the attached SSL2 (zipped) for the 3d viewer.
Is there anybody willing to check both .xml and .ssl2 and let me know?
The DDF seems to be working only when managed by the submaster while opened from the graphical view not.

Per your suggestion I have checked programs running in the background and, yes, powerpoint is running.
If I switch from mediaserver to powerpoint, load manually the presentation, select slide show, then switch back to mediaserver showing the black panel, then start send commands from mediacenter, the load event on the mediacenter fails giving the reported error but Next, Previous and Clear buttons/actions are working fine....
I have 2010 installed.
The only solution (workaround) I have found, was to save each slide into a gif or jpg file and load each of them into the playlist and walk through them as if they are single pictures to be shown.
Next step will be to control the mediacenter remotely through DMXC... and this seems not easy too.
Does Anybody used the mediacenter plugin and have some experience to share?

Hi all,

I'm planning to use Mediacenter for an event and now I'm trying to set up the whole environment (e.g. Lights, Sound and Images) at home.

Everything is working fine when I try to load and play images (gif and jpg) and sounds. When I try to load powerpoint presentation I'm not able to obtain anything from the mediaserver except errors on the mediacenter saying "Default: ppload "p.ppt" -> Load failed". (I have attached a screen shot).

I have tried to obtain something installing at first powerpoint viewer, then thinking that ppt viewer could cause problem installing powerpoint into the target pc.

Do you have any suggestion?
