Look into the Input Assignment window for making connections to things within DMXc3. You can drag inputs and outputs into connection sets, and also right click for further options for connectionsets.
Iirc if you program with groups, replacing the group updates the cues, and presets. BUT, the cues programmed with presets will not update the new fixtures in the cue. I'll replace groups by creating the new selection as a new group, deleting the old selection, and placing the new selection into the group being updated. It's a very fast version of cloning.
I searched all over the program and can't find anything called "Timer". I used the forum search feature and the only result for "Timer" was your post in this thread. Can you please explain where this Timer feature is at in DMX Control 3? What tab? What menu?
Right click in the empty connection set zone, you'll get a bunch of options for more things to Add. In Logic there is a Timer.
I am looking for a way to return the name/ID of a cuelist on a dynamic executor to a softdesk label within Input Assignment without setting it so Cuelist n is on Executor n. Also to know if the Executor is hosting a running cuelist to return an indicator to a softdesk or midi controller would be nice.
