Hello, my findings from today:
Try to:
1.
- Set custom color list 'rainbow'
- set fixture with a matrix of 1x8 the effect of color scroll
- change speed to 0.5 hz
- change fade to true
- change color list to 'rainbow'
2.
- save as preset
3.
- reset fixtures to 0/all off
4.
- 'apply' saved preset but settings: speed and fade have not been saved!
5.
- try 1. above and save in cue, then set all to 0 and bump the cue. same effect - the above settings are not saved in the cue.
Exception:
create the effect and save as custom effect. Only works if you drag and drop the effect back to the matrix of the current fixture. It will not work from cues, programmer or presets.
programmer does not recognise color scroll settings above. no square[brackets] of effects, as with other effects.
However, it is better than BETA 4/5 where the color list was not saved for the 'color scroll' effect. it now saves that.
Please post if you can reproduce, and/or any workarounds. I would like to set a static timed display.
