Hello Again Everybody.
I am trying to create a DDF for a fixture containing blades.
I have Checked the DDF Syntax many times, and even tried copying the code linked here:
Blades (DDF syntax) DMXC3 - Deutsches DMXC-Wiki
Blut I cannot get the Blade angles to function at all.
When I enter a manual number in the Device Control, I more often than not get a 'Non Format' error, even though I am giving the correct input format.
The GUI blade control also does not show the Angle blades.
Could you potentially share another sample DDF, code, or a more detailed explanation of the Syntax? This one is puzzling me greatly....
Thank you so much again!

Hello!
The settings of blades will currently only set graphically by using the Blades panel. So there is not possibility to set any value at the device control for the blades. Only the angle of the whole unit you can set there. There is already a feature request related to that point in our bugtracker: FS#3569 : Device Control lässt keine eigene Eingabe für Blades zu.
In general, this feature was not used so much in my point of view because you find fixtures with blades still only in the high(er) prized area and so there was not quite much further development on that feature. From my side for example: I could "play" just one evening with such fixtures. After that, I didn't get in touch again.
When du use the code from the Wiki article, then you set in the Blades panel by mouse:
- holding the left button: moving a blade linear in or out
- holding the right button: turning a blade
- using the wheel: turning the whole unit
I hope, I could help a bit at least. Stefan.

Thank you for the reply!
I had access to a single fixture with blades for a night myself, so I thought I would do some interesting tests with DMXC!
This was a great help.
I did not know about the right-click feature! It was the missing link
I'll continue to post updates and findings!
I am working on a bundle of testing before I move to the BugTracker.
