Issues with DMXControl 2 and velleman k8062

i'm using DMXControl 2 software with the k8062 velleman interface. I'm testing the setup with some led pars. The issue is that when i try to gradually increase/decrease the brightness of the fixtures it doesn't work linearly. It seems like the brightness increases in steps and it's easiy noticeable that is not a smooth transition. I've also tried the channel view to increase manually the dimmer channel.

Can it be fixed or at least improved by software? I know that unfortunatelly the velleman interfece is kinda slow.

DMXControl 3 may improve the situation?

They are but i've never had ay issues before using "analog" dmx cotrollers.

Try to patch the DMX Devices to one of the upper DMX Channels (e.g. 400+), and let me know whether that works.

Reason: Some DMX Interfaces send small Universe Packets to frequent if the Universe is only partially used.

Do you have access to another DMX Interface that you could try out? Did you try on a different computer? Differential exchaning components is the only way to trace down the root cause of this issue.
