Hello,
there is an early version of english tutorial for DMXConrol 3, but this is already 5 years old:
https://wiki.dmxcontrol.org/wiki/Tutorials_DMXControl_3
I hope it isn't completely outdated. Moving to DMXControl3 ist a good idea, but keep in mind that some tools from DMXControl2 are still missing, e.g. Audio player, Textbook.

Hello,
You have to disable tracking in the options of the cuelist. You can delete one cue witch the del key or with delete cue in the context menu.

Hello and thanks for the help just one thing are there any keyboard shortcuts in DMX 3 ?
-
Hello again, I have had a little progress in that I can now delete a cue I didn't realize and it didn't say anywhere that the method of selecting a cue is by clicking the square box to the left but after many hours of trying I can't create cues they seem to take on the values of the last cue I have created. There seems to be no method of saving a cue.
Could anyone take the time to tell me the correct method of creating cues please
regards
Kevin

Hello!
It is right: you need to select the complete row of the table by clicking on the box on the left side. Then you can delete the cues. That's the first point.
The second point: you should take a look at the Programmer. In the programmer, there are all values of the device properties collected, they could be stored into a cue. When you add a new cue to a cuelist, DMXControl 3 is always asking you with the window Programmer filter, which properties you will finally store into the cue. If there is selected nothing (this case you will find usually, when you would stored already the same properties in a other cue before), there won't add any properties to the new one. This correspondent also with the Programmer: all green highlighted values are stored in the last added or edited cue and because of this, they will excluded / unchecked in the Programmer filter.
I hope, you could follow me. If not, don't hesitate to ask again.
Best regards, Stefan.

Hello Sorry but the programmer is completely blank but I have discovered that if I exit DMXC then open it again my cues are correct

Did you clear the Programmer after saving a cue? With default settings the Programmer content has higher priority then cuelists, which results in a cue actually not playing.
-
Thanks Tried that no difference

Can you post a screencapture video? I think then we are better able to see what you are doing and what could be the issue.

On the Left Hand side is a very prominent Button "Add Cue".
