After we could not meet us at our traditional annual meeting in May live and in person for the first time in the history of DMXControl Projects e.V., the decision was made quite quickly that we wanted to meet again later this year. For this we wanted to expand the usual developer meeting at the end of the year to an annual meeting-lite. The last weekend of November was chosen as the date for it. The meeting should take place in the Werk- und Kulturscheune in Loitsche near Magdeburg, Germany.

However, last week, the German government have also decided: Because of the second lockdown, have to move the meeting to the world wide web once again. To protect us and the people around us, this is the only way to spend an entertaining and amusing weekend together. But the focus will again be on various topic-related discussions within the entire team as well as within the development, marketing, hardware and IT teams. One point for the big round will be the fourth Quarterly Roadmap Meeting. The next few weeks until the meeting will show whether there are any further items on the agenda. However, it will be productive, because the arrival to Magdeburg was already planned for Friday morning and the departure on Monday. Some team members have already applied for vacation with their employers a long time in advance. And these two days are now completely available for working together.

All in all, we would have wished everything to be a little different, as we said at the beginning. But now we are making the best of this situation.
