Association News - 25_CW44 - What's up at Halloween?
This coming weekend, there's something special on our association's calendar again: our development team is meeting in a small group for the annual DevCon. After it was held as planned as an online event last year - in 2023, our development team met on Heligoland - this coming weekend, we were supposed to go to Stefan's place in Braunschweig. However, various infections threw a spanner in the works at the last minute. So, it was decided without further ado to move DevCon to the World Wide Web after all. Whether at a face-to-face meeting or, as is now the case, on the World Wide Web, the exact topics will be decided “on the fly” as usual. But in the end, it's all about DMXControl 3. The nights may well be long again, especially when it comes to tracking down some nasty bugs in the code.
But what are your plans for the weekend, especially on October 31? Will you be celebrating Halloween and decorating your house or apartment with appropriate decorations and lighting? Or are you throwing a Halloween party? Or will your evening be completely different? We are very curious and excited to find out - especially when DMXControl is involved. Because both we and you regularly read about projects where DMXControl is used to create a spooky lighting atmosphere for Halloween. At the same time, many of you also use DMXControl for numerous other events and occasions. So please feel free to send us a few impressions and, if you like, your experiences over the next few days. To do so, either use the thread (The) Halloween (-Weekend) 2025 - your projects with DMXControl here in the forum, the channel #show-projects on our Discord server, or link us in your posts and stories on Instagram. We (and certainly our avid news readers) are very excited to see your pictures and impressions.
