Vereinsnews - 17_KW08 - Automatisches Testing weiter ausgebaut

Wir verbessern und erweitern kontinuierlich unser automatisches Testsystem für DMXControl 3. Wir haben auch noch weitere Pläne für die Zukunft.

Vor einiger Zeit haben wir darüber berichtet, das wir für die Entwicklung von DMXControl einen sogenannten Build-Server (konkret Jenkins) im Einsatz haben. Diesen verwenden wir unter anderem um den Installer zu bauen, aber auch um die ganzen Tests die wir im Laufe der Zeit geschrieben haben laufen zu lassen um zu sehen, ob noch alles funktioniert wie es soll. Mit den neuen Funktionen die wir für die 3.1 eingebaut haben, sind auch neue Tests dazu gekommen, und wir haben inzwischen die Grenze von 1000 Tests überschritten. Außerdem haben wir ebenfalls angekündigt, dass wir unsere Umgebung auch für Hardwaretests von Interfaces ausbauen wollen. Die Aktivitäten hierzu sind am laufen, so baut Stefan gerade an einem Adapter mit dem wir mehrere DMX-Interfaces an einen DMX-In anschließen können. Unser aktueller Plan ist es das bei unserem Vereinstreffen im Mai mal vor Ort gemeinsam zusammen zu bauen und zu sehen wie es funktioniert.
